One dial from a mix to a record
The 8th Wonder is the last stop before a mix becomes a record. One big ALCHEMY dial adds a tape-style finishing character: weight, glue and glow, more as you turn it. Around it sit the only tools a finish needs: a three-band tone section with a switchable mid range, an HF adjust, a sample-peak limiter you drive with a PUSH slider, and AUTO, which listens to the loudest part of your song and sets the input, the character, the tone and the loudness as a starting point. Everything else gets out of the way.

ALCHEMY
The main dial. How much of the finishing character goes onto the mix, from a touch of weight to full glow. The glyph rings brighten as you turn it up.
AUTO
Play the loudest section and let it listen. It sets the input, the Alchemy amount, the tone and the loudness as a starting point, then hands the panel back to you.
ON
Switch the finishing character off and on to compare. Tone, input, output and the limiter stay active and your amount is remembered.
BYPASS
Hear the mix untouched, in time with the processed signal, so you can A/B at the same place in the song.
LOW
Weight and warmth at the bottom. Up for a fuller, heavier low end; down if the mix feels boomy or muddy.
MID
The body and presence of the mix. Up to bring the core forward; down if it sounds boxy or honky.
MID RANGE
Where the MID knob works. I sits in the body of the mix, II in the upper mids, III in the presence. Pick the one that moves what you hear.
HIGH
Air and sparkle at the top. Up for openness and shine; down if the highs feel sharp or fizzy.
HF ADJUST
A finer trim just above the highs for brightness without harshness. Small moves go a long way.
LIMITER
A sample-peak limiter that keeps the mix under the ceiling. Switch it on, then raise PUSH for loudness.
PUSH
Gain driven into the limiter, up to 24 dB. The further you push, the louder and denser the mix; ease back if it starts to squash.

- HF ADJUST trims the air above the highs for brightness without edge.
- Cuts mirror boosts exactly, so a dB down undoes a dB up.
Loud without the squash
- A sample-peak limiter with a PUSH slider: up to 24 dB of drive under a ceiling that never reaches full scale.
- AUTO listens to the loudest part of the song, sets input, character and tone, then listens again and sets PUSH to land the loudness.
- Stereo peak meters with hold, a short-term LUFS readout and mono-to-stereo or stereo inserts.
